| Amateur STI Driver | Anybody using RP03's? I'm looking at upgrading my rota torque's to something lighter/stronger for autox. These are dedicated autox wheels w/ v710's (17x8 48 offset) for my AS sti. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated. I am just wondering if they will be worth the money when I already have a set of rota's. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. | Amateur STI Driver | yes...this car will be AS forever forever being at least the next couple of years anyway. I love the class even if I don't have the ideal car for it. I am competitive, regionally and nationally. I ran SM in my last car and it just feels like you are constantly modding to keep up. I am more interested in concentrating on the driving and not the modding. These wheels will allow me to shave a few pounds off. Just wondering if it is worth the extra cost. |

If you don't already have shocks, that'd be the next thing I'd do for AS. Ohlins fixed perch. |

| Amateur STI Driver | I have been thinking about shocks...that is going to come this season if I can't keep up. Last years national results were a 3rd at the NT I went to and a 1st in my first Pro Solo. This year I am planning on 4-5 national events and if I am not keeping pace, Ohlins may be on the way. Wheels are a quick and easy way to shave weight in a class where you can't really do anything to reduce weight. |
