Okay , i just found 2 paint chips in my gold 05 STI wheels car has 1700 miles.How many of you have chips on your wheels and do they have a touch up available at the subaru stealership?

But I did meet one person at the cobb meet whose wheels were turning a wierd color. Dont know from what, probably a bad powder coating job. I beat the hell out of mine, dirt, track, no problem.

Someone found a paint that has the same colour as the golden rims/ and brakes...He touched up the chips with that..

wheels are not powdercoated. they are painted (per Subaru).
I am considering powdercoating them later this summer the same color as an anthracite P1. (which I had on my WRX).

This may not be what you are talking about but, 2 days after I picked up my STI I found what looked like flaws/scratches in the paint on the rear rims it turned out to be grey paint that was easily removed with thinner. I have seen the same thing on photos of other STI's
