IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | So just picked up some 18 x 8.5 5Zigen FNO1RCs as a second wheel. Right now I'm running stock BBS' with Dunlop Winter Sport 3Ds on them. I was just switching on and off between snow and summer tires on the BBS, and I have 225/35/17 RT615s with about 70% life in them sitting in the garage. I'll be bringing my car to school in Oregon next year and will only have the wheels I'm rolling on for the year. I will not be tracking or auto-xing the car, and expect lots of rain and maybe a little snow. Help me decide between these tire/wheel options: 1.) Buy all seasons on the 5Zigens and use them as everyday wheel. Put Rt615s back on BBS and use as a track/summer wheel. Sell Winter Sports. 2.) Buy Rt615s for the 5Zigens, use as track/summer wheel. Keep Winter Sports on the BBS and use as everyday/winter wheel. Sell used RT615s. Can't make up my mind!!!! This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | stick with a summer tire cuz all weather tires suck in dry and wet weather. i dont see the point in those tires except for the fact that they are cheaper. just get a good summer tire does has excellent dry and wet weather traction. i have the BFG KDW II's and love them. go to tirerack.com for info on the tires you want and have specs for al their tires. |
