Arrow Powdercoat pics of BBS

I just got mine done on some mom and pops shop. Paid $380 for them. Hindsight's 20/20 and I should've checked out the shop near it because I could've saved $30 plus there's 1 yr warranty as well. On top of that, they accepted all forms of payment.

Worse, instead of getting my primary choice of pink ( no homo ), I went from white to steel gray. Reason being they would've charge $120 extra because they only had 1lb of pink stuff.

I just got them last night from tire shop because I also bought set of Potenza RE 01R compound. I put them on my bro's car and got his wheels instead. I don't mind not having the new tires. It's no big deal.

I'm disappointed because i thought they would polish/repair the curbage inspite of my asking them. I didn't inspect it carefully because I was in hurry to GTFO of there. However, owner did make notations on receipt that wheels have dent/scuff marks ( hanging via wire ). He should've at least called and said "Sorry man couldn't do anything about the curb damage." On top of that one of the wheels that didn't have any damage now has several dents along side the lip

Come now minor rash should be polishable no? Some guy who mounted my bro's tires before dropped the rim.

For what it's worth I give those guys props. At least the guy at tireshop mounted the weights inside the wheel lip instead of outside lip by the spokes.

I would never let my wheels get this dirty:

At least bro doesn't have to worry about cleaning his as much. Kid was ecstatic he got new set of tires and powdercoated wheels ( half assed )

Curb damage:

It's not noticeable until you look closely. There's some rash along the lip.

For comparison purposes here is my buddy's wife's STi. There's 2 coats of paint whereas mine had 1:

Another look

I wanted a lighter shade of that color. I've yet to see it in person.

Thanks for looking

Wow, it would have cost that much to go pink? That seems crazy expensive. It still looks good though.

Because they didn't have 5lbs of powder and only had 1lb left. They had white and steel gray in stock so I opted for gray. After much thought, I knew it'd look awkward on the blue so I gave them to my bro.

btw what color is yours? I wanted to go with RAL 4003 which is more subdued pink. I like how yours turned out!!!

It's not PS. My buddy's wife wanted pink on her 04.

Also, I was considering blue besides the pink and white, thank God I didn't

You know in hindsight, i knew this was available:
What is powder coating?

Yet I only went over it once. I should've read it till i knew it like the back of my hand.

Do you have anymore pics? Also I'd appreciate a close up.
