IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 Trader Rating: (3) |  Will my rims get ruined if i drive in the snow? It snowed in Chicago two days ago. I didnt' drive my car yet. I a blue sti w/ gold rims. I heard that driving in the snow with the stock gold rims will ruin the color or just mess the rims. Is this true??? This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | Re: Will my rims get ruined if i drive in the snow? snow = cold water. do you wash your car with water?  salt will make it look crappy, but it washes off very easily. brake dust from regular summer driving does FAR more damage than a little bit of cold water and salt. |
