I haven't gotten too crazy w/ the WS-50s but they hold pretty darn well on dry surface around corners. I am not sure how to compare them to lm-25s b/c I have not used them and I don't use super sticky but I can assume that the LM-25s will be better on the dry vs. the WS-50s due to them being a "Performance Winter" tire. The WS-50s ("Studless Ice and Snow") would definitely be better in snow and and especially for ice b/c that is what it was designed for. I went w/ the WS-50 b/c (1) it was on closeout price and (2) I wanted more safety/traction in winter vs. performance. I left performance to my other set of tires on my other set of wheels for when it would be safer to push the limits (i.e. no snow or ice).
