Jameson,

you're not listening.

look into POLISHED wheels!!

they have the "chrome look" without the weight.

boost3d's wheels are not chorme.

what's your budget for wheels?

we can find something that will fit, look good, and be as light as possible.

no point in putting $300 chromies on an STi.

1). Probably your average Joe would look at the stock STi and say it riced out...chrome wheels or not.
2). I don't have a "big" stereo. I have one ten inch subwoofer, but you wont see me driving down the road bumping everyone else off the road.

You chose a very polarzing topic, Jameson. People have strong feelings about this kind of thing (obviously). Just remember that it's your car at the end of the day.

And no, I don't like chrome. Polished, however, is quite alright (though not my speed). Looks like chrome but doesn't add that weight.

Alright sounds good, I would like to find a wheel with a lip, and I like 5 and 6 spoke designs. Bascially a wheel that will be easy to clean and get my hands between the spokes. I dont want to spend more then say 1500 for wheel and tire package.

Woof. That budget throws my suggestions out the window.

GC-05F in Metallic Silver (18 x 8):

GC-06H in British Black (18 x 8):

Sorry, they're $Texas, but I can't resist posting them. *Note that the offset shown isn't necessarily the one you'd get. Hell, I don't even know if either of these in +43 clears brembos.

I can get tires for pretty cheap, so the majority of that 1500 can be spent on wheels.

OT: Why do you have "Intercooler Water Sprayer" mentioned as a mod?

you're low on options.

5zigen FN01R-Cs in 18x8.5 +48mm come in a "hyper black"
Enkei RP03s come in a polished hyper black as well.

can we increase that budget to $2000 just for wheels?

How about something like that? It's a member's care on here, his name is "TheLimitedProject". Look through his journal, and others while you're at it. You may see ones you really like on cars, and get ideas.

Here is a friend of mine w/ a polished silver wheel in case you wanted to look at that angle instead of chrome...

And if you want one other option at roughly 900/wheel you could roll in theses:

Nothing like a little neochrome!

how much lip are you looking for?

and to get large quantities of lip you need more than $1500.

are you willing to run a staggered offset front/rear?

i've got a hell of an Idea but I have a feeling you wont like the price, so I'll just keep it to myself.

and what tires are you hoping to run?
