Anyone have any update on these tires? I'm close on getting new tires.

I ordered a set of these tires. 235/40/17 cost me $192/ea. I am in Boston so I obviously won't be trying them out any time soon.

Can we get a write up on this. Autox season seems to be in full swing. I would like to know how these are holding up? Hot? Cold? Steering response? Dry Grip Cornering? etc...

Also, what about the new Kumho Ecsta XS "Falken Killers"? They look sexy, but are they track/autox proven?

i've only heard one 2nd hand review on the R1Rs and it was they were gripppppy.

it was on a lighter car so how they hold up to heat info isn't really reliable.

If the R888's performance is any indication of Toyo's technology I think the R1R's should be awesome. Locally, R888's are cutting very very impressive times! A stock S2000 cut a 47.7 sec run (FTD was a 47.0 in the hand of a competitive BSP Prepped Evo).

bump...i'm interested in these tires..but they don't seem to have 235's yet..and 225 is too small..
will the 255's fit without rubbing?

my tires are bald and i'm looking to try something different than the rt615's (i have hankook's now).
