IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2005 Trader Rating: (4) | I used the contiextreme's on my R32 as snow tires, and they were incredible in the snow. I think they were better than the hankook icebear's Im using for my STI. they were good in the rain, and decent in the dry also. I couldnt complain This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Had them on our 4Motion Passat wagon. Good choice! My only gripe was they tend to get noisier as they wore down to the limit, but I guess that's with most tires. |

| Professional STI Driver | Well, I've got the conti's on 3 cars right now. I think they wear a bit fast, but I punish them heavily. In the snow they are great, and sticky enough to be fun in the dry. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | I drove a BMW that had the Contis on it and I think it handled like crap. The grip was ok but the sidewalls flexed a lot! I haven't driven them in the rain or snow but from my experience on dry pavement I personally didn't care for them. I got a set of 960s over the summer and I love them. They have great wet traction tho I have yet to test them in the snow. The sidewall is nice and stiff as well. But the only downside I noticed is that it's a fairly hard compound so they don't grip as well as I thought they would on the dry but they still handle better than the Contis IMO. |
