It has a nice pull all the way to redline. I highly suggest for the next power mod is to add Methanol injection w/ failsafe. As long as your failsafe is working, Meth can be a great power and safety adder. I don't tune meth aggressive. I tune it to add about 30-40 more whp and thats about it. The thing is though, that increase is nearly throughout the entire power band and the engine runs cooler. It really makes the car that much more fun and driveable. With meth, you can hit an easy 320 WHP and still be safe on that block Wes. | |

A v8 longblock would be perfect, but you are still dealing with cast pistons (not that the v8 motors are bad, the cast 2.0L pistons hold up much better than the 2.5 pistons). |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | v7 motors are good too, they are just older and tend to break sooner. There is absolutely nothing wrong with cast pistons on the v8 and they hold up very well, even with 30R turbos. |
