IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | its a pieced together aquamist setup^ and you dont know the whole story about perrin, Ive known Jeffs buisness since it was alta performance. I dont trust their "engineering" They design crap that doesnt work with anyone elses products. If you want their turbo setup I recommend the gt30. The gt35 is a little too big for street use unless you plan on 28psi being your tune...and your not getting that on a stock block, I wouldnt go past 20 psi on a 2.5 block unless you want blown ring lands. What Im going to say is VERY controversal YOU DONT NEED METH ON A STREET CAR! Dont belive me, look at the many sti/wrx's on just boost and 93 in the 10s. You could take the $$ for the kit and install +tuning and get something much more worth the money in the long run. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | all you need is boost to go 10s and beyond (with the proper motor) in Page Ranking they just ran 9.20 with a 4088 no meth, just race gas and boost. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | engine logics said they charge about $4,500 for fully built heads. decent price? i want to get cams, pistons, rods, heads, and eventually bore, sleeve and stroke it. im just worried that the 30r will get old. with a fully built motor, wont it be maxing out the 30r? i probly will never run race fuel. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | 4500 for heads? WAY TOO MUCH cosworth are 3500. You dont want sleeves, they drop then your motor goes BOOM! cosworth doesnt do it and rate their engines at 700hp capable. They actually tryed sleeving subaru motors and its doesnt last very long or reliable. Um yeah I dont think the 30r will get "old" and if it does on the street let me know Ill slap you. And if it still does you will want a 4088. On 93 you can get to the high tens with a good experienced driver. With race gas a decent mid 10. 35r can get to consistent 10.50s on race gas, no meth. If you want a motor built Id go local like Todd. When your motor goes boom and the builder is in houston or wherever its a little harder for customer service. Isnt your car the primary mode of transportation for you armysoldierboy? |
