Unhappy Need AP help!

Last week I uploaded the firmware update from Cobb.Over the weekend I went to the dealer for Warranty reflash,so I uninstalled my Protune back to stock.SO...afterwards I go to reflash my Protune map back to the ECU,and it won't take it.I was able to reflash the Cobb stage 2 map.

Both Pro tune maps are still in the AP,according to the AP manager, but they are not in BOLD print in the screen, like they used to be.The AP manager will not let me down load the maps into the library,so I can try a reload onto the AP.

Help from any AP masters would be greatly appreciated.
Even with the Cobb stage 2 map,It feels like someone cut the nut's off my STI!!!!!! HELP!

I would go back to your tuner and have him upload the maps to your AP again.

Question Re: Need AP help!

I thought one of the reasons to get a COBB AP was to not have to go to a tuner. If someone were to just flat out buy one and install it themself then they'd have to go find a tuner who could fix this issue? (I'm asking b/c I'm debating whether or not to get one b/c of possible waranty issues if it won't reflash.)

He has a protune map loaded on the AP. This is a seperate issue from the OTS map the AP comes with. Please search and read. It doesn't sound like you are even versed in the basic capabilities of the AP.

That's weird. FWIW, I did not have the same problem. I would contact Cobb also.

Perhaps the Protune format needs to be updated due to a compatibility issue with the new firmware? I know Cobb recently changed a few things (namely you can't download a Protuned image from your ECU anymore).

Yes, I did download the new firmware.I just now down loaded the latest version of the ap manager from Cobb, hooked the ap to my computer, moved all my maps into the new ap manager, then moved the maps from the library back to the AP,and they are once again highlighted on the ap,and I was able to reflash my pro map to the ECU.

Don't ask me??? I love it when a plan falls together.
Thanks for your responses,suggestions,and help.
