| Authorized Vendor | We were sent these as an eval set, and we got a chance to put them on today. Grip is very nice, and the reduced gap between go and whoa is really nice. We also shifted the clutch over about .5" to give some more room there (for us crazy left foot brakers). Anyway, we're going to try these out, and if we like them we'll most likely offer them. In the mean time we thought you'd enjoy seeing pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2003 Trader Rating: (2) | I am super interested in the wider gas pedal. I find the spacing on the 08 makes consistent heel toe shifting very difficult for me. (It is embarassing that I can shift my Forester better than my STI.) Staying tuned!... |

| Halliburton Mercenary | cool... does the stamping on the brake and clutch point towards the driver and on the gas point towards the engine? do they make these for GDs? i dislike how slippery the pedals become when your shoes are wet. |

These will fit the GD as well. The gas pedal is very slightly different, but only in contour. The contour should actually fit the GD a little bit better. We will have stock of them soon.

| Halliburton Mercenary | it looks like the pedals are simply stamped out of a sheet of metal. in doing so, they contour the holes in the pedal so one side has a smooth hole entry and one side has a sharp, abrupt hole entry. make sense? is that correct? I can see the sharp side giving great traction. also- it looks like the install is completely reversible, save some hidden holes in the pedal. correct? |

| Authorized Vendor | they are milled, but I know what you mean on the look of the stamping. The grip surface is the same, but for some reason looks different in the pics. They actually have a few different grip surfaces on them so there'll be a variety. We'll be picking up a set of GD style with a waffle iron pattern (they call it grid) for the 04, and an auto set for the SVX (and most likely another auto set for the wife's outback when she tries these - although she drove the SVX the other day and really liked it so I may loose it soon). |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2003 Trader Rating: (2) | I haven't really taken a hard look yet, but any install pointers before I start drilling out my nice stock pedals? Any issues with taking the OEM covers off? Why is the gas pedal bolted on and the others use self tapping screws? |

It is tough to see what is going on behind the pedal and I don't want to break anything. The FSM doesn't show them as seperate pieces.... This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad.
