| Amateur STI Driver | Hey guys, got my 2008 sti with 3000 miles reflashed at the dealership based on the recall letter I got for the WVE#15 issue. Overall is a little better. However, at 4000 rpms in 3rd gear expecially I feel the car would accelerate but then it would hesitate and choke a little as it goes up to the 5500 range. Any ideas how this can be fixed and could there be any damanged done to the engine? please advise This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

I drove the car for 2 weeks with it performing like crap. Rest the ecu via the battery and now the car drives amazing. Put down some decent numbers with the new tune too.
