Default Which sways? and why....

I would like to have good fitment, run stock endlinks, and not introduce any clunking.

Harmom Motives --
I know early runs had fitment issues. I like the black OEM like paint job, and with built in braces to prevent sliding.

Are these to big for street use?

Whileline sways -- which ones? would 20r/22f be to mild or an upgrade?

Cobb. 25m hollow=22mm solid correct. Plus a weight savings over solid.
The rear cobb scares me with to many reporting that the rear is hard to get from loosening up.

Would getting a cobb hollow for up front and a Whiteline rear be weird?

your endlinks are going to be your biggest drawback...... your endlinks will be bent in no time.

Damn, I hadn't heard. I've had the rear cobb bar for about a week now. What do you mean it's hard to get from loosening up? It comes loose easily? Which parts come loose, the arms, the mounts, or the endlinks?

I'll have to check mine and make sure all is good, maybe add some loctite.

Eh, I'm running stock endlinks on my Whitelines but only because the Whiteline endlinks I ordered....well, suck. But thats another answer for a question you never asked.

The rear adjustable 20 mm bar went on without issue, however the front appears to be about a half centimer short in that the bend at full deflection in either end starts rubbing the bushing sideways. After a couple years I can see the bushing itself getting worn out on the side. What effect that would have is a good question that I cant answer.

At the end of the day though the 20 rear (middle setting)/22 (lightest setting) front did level out the car a bit. There is a noticeable change on slower turns about mid turn and high speed steering response is improved. Unfortunately, the front bar is just making it much more obvious for the need of more camber in the front.

Keep in mind this is on public roads with stock tires so I wasn't reaching the full potential of the car, nor the new sways. I'd be able to give a better impression but not until I can get out to Summit Point next year.

The Harman Motive bars are 100% perfect fit with stock links. Running the stock rear links still but will have some new links on the way. The front stockers are fine.

Too big for the road? Hell no!

So far so good with the cobb front and rear. Felt great on the track! Ordered new tires today to take advantage of the stiffness.

FWIW, no troubles with Cob here. Anything you install will "loosen up" if not installed properly.

i have the whiteline adj 22mm in the back (middle hole) with the support bars and for the front i went a different route. i got the universal 20mm poly bushings from energy suspensions for the front. flipping the 2mm difference to the +rear was the way to go for me. the car handles phenominal now. the body flick is gone and nice predictability in the corners. i pushed it hard in a decreasing radius turn and instead of push i got a small amout of hopping, like it wanted to push but couldn't, yet it was fully controllable in the corner. i'm very happy with the balance now and dare i say it handles like it should have handled new??

Nice thing about the whiteline rear adjustable bars is they come with the support brackets for the sway bar mounts. These things are known to break on legacys.

not a bad thing to bend endlinks... id rather bend a simple endlink, rather than break something else when hitting a large pothole or something.

IIRC a hollow 25mm COBB front sawybar is closer to 23.5121515mm solid.

And the rear is about 21.94, 22.943637, 23.94mm in Soft, Medium and Stiff.

(This is according to the hotchkins bars or however you spell it).

BTW- The numbers refer to the GD sways, but still give you an idea of hollow vs. solid for any car.

Get Kartboy endlinks and then forget about it!

I had perrin endlinks and they were just garbage compared to the Kartboy ones.

That is an aspect I like about the whiteline's. Are the support brackets compatible with cusco's bracing? (rear member brace).

It looks like it might share the same bolt as whitelines support mounts for the sways.
