IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | I bought the maddad EL headers and uppipe and went to install them last night. I must have drank too much beer because I broke more studs in my new car than I have on my 510. Nobody has tge carrect studs so all I can do is run some bolts up from the bottom of the uppipe flange. Anybody elose have this problem? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | This uppipe is a three bolt flange the stocker on the 08 sti is only two. I might have just intalled the headers if they matched up. Then do the uppipe when I did the DP. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | The bolts really dont bother me. They are better than what came with the header and better than factory as far as strength. I got it finished last nite so far so good. They really smoothed out the car. Interior dba is down noticably. Cant wait for a dp and tune next. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | I went from the bottom of the flange up to the turbo. The two brackets that hold the turbo and uppipe to the block got studs. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
