IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Hello everybody, thanks to all the suggestions I got on this forum reading different 3D. I got convinced and purchased from the nice guys of TC the Whiteline front sway 22mm (adjustable) and 20mm post. I installed myself pretty easily in around 2 hours from scratch. The front has been installed into the "soft" position. As somebody may rem. I went for the 22/20 combo because I want to keep stock susp., stock endlinks and I'll never to race tracks. After first testing, I'm firmly convinced that the new STI should come out of the factory with these sways. The handling improvement is fantastic and overall comfort is not affected. Understeer is significantly diminished (not completely) but the car now is just amazing. Body roll is went, it turns sharp and I would say, it gives a much better positive feeling. Not that stock was bad, but now...........!! No noises or strange rumors so far...... For the ones that are not looking for a "radical/track" setup and use the car for "cummuting" but likes the sport driving, I do really suggest this mod. Not a great expense for great results! However, i was planning to go with a thicker setup (24mm). I may be wrong, but I don't think a thicker sway bar would effect comfort at all. Would it? I'll very rarely track/autox my car, if at all, so maybe I'll go with the thinner option. Input on this matter would be appreciated. |

As far as concern me, I would say that stiffer sway bars affects comfort less than stiffer springs and shocks, but with less and less body roll you'll feel the difference. Not a big issue but..... In my case in addition to the comfort, I didn't wanted to lower too much performances on wet (rain) surfaces (which much stiffer sways will do). Last edited by maurpra; 09-03-2008 at 12:13 AM. |

| Senior STI Driver | Im running cobb front and rear(medium setting). Car drive great and I am not having any "comfort" issues. Wet traction is good, but I dont drive like an idiot in the rain... all depends on how you drive. Tight on and off ramps are extremeley predictable, the car stays very neutral... has not slid out on me yet and will keep turning in if you want it to. Overall a great setup with COBB. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | I ran Whiteline 24mm sways (front/rear) on my '05 and they were awesome. I've got a set of WL 24mm front/22mm rear sways on hold right now as part of a group buy with a local vendor. Since I'm tracking the car, I want slightly bigger sways. For those that want to go 24mm, that size won't affect comfort at all. |

| Authorized Vendor | BTW guys, just today we got in the 22mm rear adjustable bar from Whiteline. This is as large as I would really want on the car at this point in time. And if you need some endlinks that are a bit beefier and easier to use for the adjustable bars, the Whiteline 08 endlinks (KLC066) are great! Tony |
