Default OMG! STi 08!!!No Problems!Help!Ahh!

Hi ,

My STi hasn't got any Problems since 15000KM german Autobahn and some North Loop Laps, driven like I stole it.

What is wrong? I would like to Talk about my 08 but as its perfect out of the Box for me, I dont know what to say.

Maybe I should just at the People not enjoing it for such a long Time.

If any stock 08 will break it should be mine , I am Redlining it every Day

The suspension isn't soft if you drive Corners like they should be driven , not backing off every second , the same is fo rthe Body Roll is the Car is under load it doesnt roll more than most Performance Cars.

Breaking and going of the throttle too much will generate Bodyroll , that Bodyroll will save your Live! The STi was not build to Slalom it at the Parking.

For those who buy every Suspension "Upgrade" take care if you drive the Car outside of an Airfield or an "AutoX" Track.

Many young driver think that is their Car handles "good" in AutoX or an small Track, think that it will do well in real Live but it will only be a more stiffer ride wich feels faster for your Butt.

I would like that some Dealers say that their Mods are made for the AutoX and NOT the Street!

Anyway take care and have fun with your Cars but dont be silly

You're in Germany, what engine do you get? The 2.0 liter or the 2.5 liter? What RON do you use? What software is your ECU using, do you have to pass emmisions like many Stateside vehicles do?

Hmm...try running 89 octane and then doing some laps. This *might* fix the abnormal condition you seem to be experiencing.

Its the EJ25 so the same 2,5Liter as in the US , 100 oktane Shell V-Power that is like your 95 RON i think , emmmisions are 243g CO2/kg max.,ECU is stock, I looked for a Sticker in the Door but there is none.I asked the Dealer for a Update but he didnt hear anything so far.

Damn, I've got the same issue. I've got almost 12K km on the car now, running Cobb stage 1 93 v1.00 map since about 400-500km or so and it sees redline frequently. Running Sunoco Ultra 94.

You just know everyone in this thread is tempting fate.

I take my 08 to the track at least one day every other week, and the only problem i have is everyone who tries to rave me on the road is always so far behind that i dont get to laugh at them at the next stop light.
