IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | When is a nominal period to rotate the tires on the 08 STI? And our stock asymmetrical tires are ok to rotate crossed correct? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

To the OP - I'm pretty sure our tires are directional, so only rotate front to back (unless, of course, you want to unmount the tires with every rotation). |

| Silver Member | I do it every other oil change, so every 6000 miles. The method used (front back or left right) depends on the tires, I would check your manufacturers website for instructions, or just ask your tire guy. |

| Amateur STI Driver | Just checking but, usually tire rotations are recommended for even wear since most cars are either Front or Rear wheel drive. Now with an all wheel drive, given its left at 50% front to rear, why would tire rotation be needed since all four tires are given the same amount of torque? Is this true or am I off base? |
