| Amateur STI Driver | I am requesting help with the A/C self diagnosis mode. It would be great if someone else with an '08 could try this and report back: 1. Turn off car. 2. Set first knob on A/C Panel (fan speed) to AUTO 3. Set second knob on A/C Panel (Flow control) to AUTO 4. Start the engine with the A/C switch pressed. Watch the lights. According to the service manual, all LEDs should blink eight times. This indicates that SELF-DIAGNOSIS mode is selected. With my car, the A/C does not seem to be working properly, it does not produce cold air. And when I tried the above procedure, the A/C light blinks 4 times in a row but no other LED's blink. Any reports of normal operation of this SELF-DIAGNOSIS mode would be appreciated. Thanks! This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| Amateur STI Driver | A/C related question....I didn't want to make a new thread.... Anyone else notice air still comes through the dash vents when you set the controls to "Defrost" / "Defrost and Feet" / "All Feet".... Just curious if it was designed that way, or if I need to take it in to get it looked at. I am thinking whatever actuators that divert the flow may not be working correctly.
