IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Sorry, I know this thread is out there somewhere but can anyone tell me if the BBS wheels from the 2007 STi will fit the 2008's with no issues? I'm looking for some winter wheels. Thanks This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Yes, the 05-07 BBS wheels will fit. I'm running 07 Limited wheels during the winter on my car. |

| Senior STI Driver | Why? At the going rate for the old BBS's, they're pretty much the same price a cheap cast wheels on TireRack, etc. - but for a much nicer wheel. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Not to mention steelies from Subaru would cost $90 each CDN. BBS are a steal, also factory equipment are good, espeically forged BBS wheels. At least you know if you do corner hard they wheels won't break apart (Rota LOL) |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | I was told when i picked up my 08 that i would have to go to alloy winter wheels to clear the brembo's, steelies weren't available. maybe things have changed but i am not sure |

| Junior STI Driver | That was my understanding, and when i got my 08 STI, the dealer tried to sell me 07 gold BBS rims(17"), but i already owned 18" winter tyres. |

I guess so, but I gather you wouldn't want to use steelies anyways, they are so cheap and thin and possibly easy to warp if you did some spirited driving. I think that's why we get forged wheels stock. Anyways I got my set of 17" 2006 STI BBS, so those will do great. My ONLY question is, does the wheel weights that are stuck on the inside of the wheel going to affect clearance on the brembos? I have to make sure to tell the mounting guys not to use those if it's going to get ripped off... | |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | My 07 Limited wheels have the weights on the inside of the wheel and I have no clearance problems. However, I have seen someone post here that his wheel weights were pulled off by his calipers. Maybe my shop uses thinner weights...I dunno. |
