semi synthetic engine oil !?!?

I just changed the engine oil on my baby today. It was second time that i changed the engine oil from Subaru Dealer. And i found out that they use the semi synthetic oil. Should i keep using it? because i read some threads about the engine oil from here and it says we better not to use synthetic oil. Let me know what you guys think.

should we not use syn? i have always been using syn oil.

i have always wanted to try motocraft syn blend because it is cheap. I think this is what the subie dealer here uses but I can't be certain.

any thoughts on motocraft?

I use regular Rotella T in all of the Subaru's that I've owned with great success including my built motor in my 05 STI.

i use Motul 5w30. it's fully synthetic and i see no problems.

i guess our engines are just beasts. they'll take w.e u throw at em lol. I use full synthetic btw Mobile1

it will be fine.... I used the synthetic blend for my seconds oil change and then switched to full synthetic for the 3rd.
