IWSTI Addict since: May 2008 Trader Rating: (1) | I had an 02 Civic with aftermarket suspension before the STI and it was noisy as hell. You could hear it coming from a mile away. How's the aftermarket suspension for the 08's? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| Silver Member | What type of suspension did you have on your civic, and what type of noise are you referring to? The only suspension that made noise on any of the cars I've owned was the Tiens on my prelude.. they made a nice squeaky sound on bumps which annoyed the hell out of me. None of the Endless/zeal setup's I've had have made any sounds.. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Aftermarket suspension, ie usually most higher end coilovers replace those squishy bushing with pillow ball mounts and nice metal all around So your noise and harshness level will go up. But it's usually not THAT bad, unless you've change every single link and bushing. Then your car will vibrate like a mad-man just idling. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2008 Trader Rating: (1) | I had Eibach springs, Koni shocks, and Progress sways. No exhaust. Why the hell would I put an exhaust on a Civic. ![]() So I'm starting to think it was installation that lead to all the noisiness. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | Aftermarket endlinks and sways can sometimes cause noise but that is usually only audible to the driver and is usually due to not using enough (or any) grease on the sway bushings. I had Cusco mounts in my '05 and after installing those, you really couldn't hear any other noises. |
