Default Spool Question

I plan on going to stg.2 soon(catted DP), Is there a way to get this car to spool up a little easier(sooner)?

Stage 2 alone will make it spool faster, Then I could recomend a protune. Then get some headers/upipe, turbo inlet etc. IMO

if you're more serious about it:

meth
twin scroll
smaller BB turbo (ex GT28R)
antilag

but seriously, how does a recirc valve work?

I was hitting 23psi by 3200 rpm with the help of a wastegate helper spring, but you MUST get a tune when you do this mod. My 04 STI was a monster down low and in the midrange. Perrin inlet tube helps too.

Its litterally a spring that you attach to the wastegate arm holding it shut mechanically. I dont really recomend doing it, but it is addictive

Start with Stage 2 and go from there. It will really wake up the car making it more responsive and give you a big torque increase down around 3K. After that, there are endless mods to do but Stage 2 might be all you need/want (at least at first).

mofoSTi; OK I know what you are talkin about, If I converted to a ewg thats the part that holds the flapper shut.
H.M. Thats where I plan to start with a catted DP and a ots map. then an intake, turbo inlet, then a pro-tune

Thanks
