| Professional STI Driver | Is it worth getting the CF over FRP? I would imagine the CF is obviously stronger, but is it a couple hundred bucks worth/stronger? I am looking at the Chargespeed lip, was thinking of ordering it (thought it was CF only), then saw that some vendors had it in FRP. Any thoughts? This ad is not endorsed by this member. The carbon you dont have to paint, the frp once bent isuallu leaves stretch marks in the paint. From experience, buy a replica rubber ebay lip. You'll be very happy you did when you hit that one drive way, or that one huge puddle. Just expect the lip to take some crap from the road, because it will. My cf lip is the biggiest trooper I know. Its been on 3 cars and is torn and split, but I still love it. It's become more of a bumper protector than an actuall visual compliment..lol. |
