Default Material of front lips: CF vs. Fiberglass

Is it worth getting the CF over FRP? I would imagine the CF is obviously stronger, but is it a couple hundred bucks worth/stronger? I am looking at the Chargespeed lip, was thinking of ordering it (thought it was CF only), then saw that some vendors had it in FRP.

Any thoughts?

Imo, longevity the cf. But depends on what you're doing. Do you track at all? The carbon you dont have to paint, the frp once bent isuallu leaves stretch marks in the paint. From experience, buy a replica rubber ebay lip. You'll be very happy you did when you hit that one drive way, or that one huge puddle. Just expect the lip to take some crap from the road, because it will. My cf lip is the biggiest trooper I know. Its been on 3 cars and is torn and split, but I still love it. It's become more of a bumper protector than an actuall visual compliment..lol.

The thing about carbon fiber is it's SUPER brittle. So it cracks and frays under impact/abrasion. It is very strong though, Id rather destroy a $150 lip than a $400 and up cf lip. Just my thoughts..

I track about 4-6x a year, I'll have to check ebay for replicas as well, but I really dig the CS one.
