Good or Bad Idea

OK, So i was thinking should i change the steering wheel and the shight knob to something nicer or keep it stock?

Changing the shifter is a matter of opinion and if you want something different then have at it.

The steering wheel (My opinion on this) shouldn't be touched unless you are sporting a harness and this car is gonna be a tracking beasty. I can think of one instance a few years ago that occured at Streets of Willow between a STi that was sporting an aftermarket steering wheel and a driver with an open face helmet. Unless let it's going to be a dedicated track beasty I would leave all the original safetly devices in place.

Thats true im not gunna race on track to have a new steering wheel....buy i think the knob might be an option...i dont want the inside to me so boring if you know what i meen

Keep the wheel stock. it could save your life.

now, if the jdm wheel was nicer, maybe... but it looks the same.

i installed a jdm steering wheel in my bugeye, it was a nicer wheel.

change the wheel if you want to....its your call...it was one of the best choices i made and i DD mine

if you don't care about the airbag, this is a nice wheel. it is a jdm spec-c wheel. I had one in my GL wagon with a 2.2L turbo swap.

they make them....just look around...or you could just find a shape you like and recover it

i have the kartboy knuckle ball shift knob and its nice. and i was thinking about switching my wheel to a Personel 330mm swade one wiht the flip up hub.

i dont think its smart to do...

but the shift knob is a great upgrade. i like a very heavy one.

its not illegal in WI i know for sure, but some insurance companies will change up your policy since you no longer have an airbag...if they find out that is lol

St. Wheel = Bad Idea (giving up too much safety & convenience)
