How are they riceriffic? Because they are lighter or because they are color co-ordinated? hehe

Those lugs are 0.8 oz each as opposed to 2.3 apiece. 65% weight reduction is hard to come by. When you hold the package in your hand and all 20 weigh 1 lb. you get it.

Not gonna get much lighter than the Volks and you're gonna pay a lot for so little more.

I looked at forged magnesium. Top of the line but 1500 a wheel. Your looking at 10-12 lbs a wheel depending on 17 or 18 inch rims. If you can afford them great. I don't have unlimited bank roll anymore.

Wow another wasted thread. Go back over to that other site with this crap. We understand yours is bigger than his. Could all you '08 haters just climb back under your rock. Just avoid this section all together.

you should be more specific. Do you have a budget? The site below is a great reference, also the weights in the tirerack are usually fairly accurate.

WHEELWEIGHTS.NET

If budget is not an issue, try Volk CE28N's, TE37's, or RE030's. I've been told there are only two forged wheel makers- BBS and Volk. You can get close to forged weights with certain wheels by Enkei, SSR, and Weds. If you want to spend tons of money, magnesiums as mentioned, or now carbon fiber/mag for $2k+ per wheel.

lol @ all you guys. dont you know that deep down inside, chargedvette really admires the 08 sti's but juts wont admit it thats why he keeps trolling in the 08 grb sections.

nice lugs mattjk, i'll have black volk lugs once i get my re30's in 17# baby!

note to the OP: i have the stock 28# rims right now. the ride is stable and not bumpy or rough. from what i hear, with the lower weight rims, you will be feeling the road a lot more than the heavy stockers but will be easier to turn and much less rotating mass.
