Sometimes fuses can be blown and not look blown. You should use a multimeter and test the continuity of the fuses. It might be worth a shot.

You grounded out the circuit and burnt the fuse link. Check with a multimeter, like onlytakes4 stated or buy the little test lamp at autozone.

You'll just need to replace the blown fuse with a good fuse.

You shouldn't need to reground anything. Just take your meter find a good chassis ground and follow the wiring all the way back the best you can till you find where the power stops (faulty fuse, relay, etc.) and replace.

Take the multimeter and place it on the continuity setting. When you touch the leads together it should make a sound, verifying you have continuity. The sound you hear is verifying that the circuit is continous (i.e. it is not open...a complete circuit from source to load). Go into your fuse box and check the fuses associated with the lights, radio, clock, etc. Place the hot and ground leads on either side of the fuse (looking at the fuse you should have two exposed conductive portions on either end of the fuse).

The conductors/cables/wires will not burn with a short to ground (aka your chasis) because they are capable of withstanding a larger amount of fault current.

Let us know how you make out.

Generally, as a courtesy to those that helped you out and for future reference for other members, you should always say what and how you fixed the problem. Just a suggestion...

Does anyone know which fuse is related to the interior lights. Is it #16 in the cabin fuse panel? My interior lights are not working too...
