Is it possible & did anyone tried it before (even on older OEM models)? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

EDIT: What I meant to say is whether the subs are getting enough juice. I don't know how it's wired but using the stock wires, like it has been stated below is probably going to be the bottleneck in terms of getting enough power to the amps. I echo the other posts in suggesting an aftermarket solution since you will get WAY more for your money. Last edited by GilMikalian; 06-20-2008 at 02:51 PM. |

On what percentage would you rate the improvement from 1 to 2 subs. | |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | As I understand it (and someone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong), the power for the subs aren't coming from the OEM radio harness, but from a power wire that is separate from the radio system. So whether or not that power wire can handle two subs depends on the gauge (thickness) of the wire. The only thing you're getting from the OEM radio harness is the signal, which can spread as many times as you want. Again, run a separate power wire and go aftermarket. |

| Amateur STI Driver | definitley check out the basslink!!! very small, powerfull with the option of sliding in a 4 channel amp into the unit to power the rest of the speakers in the car. Its a all in one, light weight unit! I don't know why they are not more popular. |

| STI Driver | All I am going to say is do not under any reason go with a "CAP". Just please trust a random guy like me when I say NOTHING good comes from them, there are alternative methods.
