Default First try starting issue after a flash?

Anyone else have a problem with starting the first time after reflashing with an AP? Whenever I do it, I shut the ignition off (per instructions), disconnect the AP and try to start it and it just turns over without a hint of being ready to start. It fires right up the second time. I've tried even turning the igntion on and then back off to simulate the first failed start, but it doesn't work. You have to actually crank the thing and then turn the ignition off before it will fire up on subsequent attempts.

Yep! It's normal. After you disconnect the AP and turn the key to off, instead of starting the car just turn the key to the ON position for about 10 seconds. Then just start 'er up!

Completely normal. It can take up to 5 seconds to start sometimes while other times it will start right up.

If you listen closely after you turn the car off after flashing you will hear a relay click. If you try to start it before that relay clicks, it will not start. If you wait till after it will start right up.

I recall also that the electronic throttle needs a chance to cycle the intake butterfly or something along that line.
Maybe that's the relay noise??

I had it never start back up for me twice. Second time cobb dealer himself installed the ap and it burned the ecu the second time. Cobb took care of me with no problems and overnighted the ecu and ap tuner already installed.
