Sorry for jacking. To answer your question.. AVO has TMIC for the 08 STI runs at 799.99 Perrin has a TMIC for the 08 STI runs at 869.99 Ultimate Racing has a FMIC for the 08 STI runs at $995.00 (+$200 /w CAI) |

I already have Deatch Werks 850cc little blues sitting here at the house. As for a TMIC its a no-go I have already test fitted the Blouch Dominator 3.0R there is no clearance the turbo is taller than the stock TMIC bracket, IMHO it will be too close to any TMIC for proper cooling, so a FMIC is a must when running this big of a turbo. I will call UR to see what they have availiable. |

Also, there's a thread on nasioc where someone was able to fit the spearco intercooler, which doesn't extend as far over as it matches the available brackets in '04-07 cars. As I was ultimately hoping to go with a hybrid and big TMIC, I'm not sure there's a happy solution here other than going back to '04-07-type intercooler dimensions, which would give up some cooling potential. Maybe I'll go with a custom rotated setup so I can push the turbo down more. oh, and search first... Frank This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
