Default Proper fitment of a downpipe to stock catbaback

Does anyone know what all downpipes are availiable that completely eliminate the cats and bolts up with a proper matching flange to the stock catback sysytem? The reason i am asking is because i have found a Cobb catless DP for my car and the salesman told me to be careful that alot of the new systems do not fit properly. He stated that the Cobbs was a doughnut type gasket at the end which fits and seals perfectly to the stock system. I am still trying to justify 495.00 for it especially over a 4 inch TXS catless.
