Default SI-Drive Default Setting

alright i'm sure this has been covered somewhere, but a search brought up nothing - how do i make my 08 STi remember that i want it in S#... cause to me, the STi isn't an STi unless its in S#. if i want it on a different setting i'll put it there, i want it to default to S#.

You can't. You just have to get used to the pre-flight check, which for me is S#, auto - and traction off.

IIRC on really cold starts S and S# is locked out till the car warms up. Switching to one should result in a double beep meaning wait till its warm.

I have yet to start my car in the winter maybe someone else can confirm. I am curious if the AP or other tunes turn this off.

traction off that means a yellow light or green light?? I remember reading a japanese magazine the green light is actucally faster than the yellow light.

traction off=first light (as you punch the button)
traction sorta-kinda off=second light (as you hold the button down)

sorry i'm color blind and have a hard time even seeing the difference. i have to look for the change of angle that the direction of the light comes from to see the switch. light from the left=off. light from the right=sort-kinda off.
