Who wants to send me their Perrin map? I borrowed an AP from a friend and get to use it for a while and would like to try it.

Nice friend. The AP's are married to the purchased vehicle. So if he unistalled it to give it to you, that means your friend just lost Stage 1 and went back to stock.

+1. When I bought my AP from Perrin they didn't have this map yet, and were been telling me it would be out "maybe next week" for a month or so. Can the OP or another please confirm existence of this map: I want to try too!

Yes, they have a ACN 91 map...

Jeff emailed it to me on Monday... it's awesome!

(You can not share maps, E-mail Perrin and request one. If you bought the AP from Perrin, it will be free, otherwise I think you have to pay)

not to jump down your throat or tear you a new one - but i say put money in the pocket of the tuners out there that are making our cars more enjoyable. cough up the cash and pay for your copy of the map.

FYI - every time they distribute the map to an individual, they put that individual's CC info in the map version info area, so whenever its opened with the AP software and you go to map info, there's your name and CC info. i wouldn't recommend redistributing it. props to them for ensuring they don't get ripped off.

Yep,

My map "info" included all the tuning information, as well as my name, address, phone number, etc, etc...

Not something I'd want to pass along to people. Plus, I paid for it, and these guys did a tremendous job! I'd hate for them not to get paid for their work.

True true, but what thats no difference of people bootlegging cds,dvds... What about those employees that put their time and effort into producing a 12 month film... All to his own i guess.

if i enjoy it, i buy it... doesn't matter if its an mp3, operating system, a movie, etc. if i feel though its quality and its something i use/enjoy on a regular basis - its worth the money.

I used AP stg 1&2 maps on my 04 WRX and after I got my car tuned it's like night n day difference. Just like how my car was from stock to AP and now from AP to tune. EDO has a great tuner coming this month, I'm taking my stock STi to get tuned and 2 of my friends already ditched AP for Ecutek.

You're right... it's no different! That's why a lot of us don't do that, either...

I Flashed v1.01 last weekend and have put over 200 miles on the car since then, only thing I don't like is fuel cut kicks in at 6250RPM. Is this how Cobb designed their map? Is Perrins' like this? "WRXGUY" help me out here.
