IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Hi, On my 2008 STi, I noticed a small green wiring harness right under the glove box just above where your feet would go and it was unplugged. Everything seems to be working on my car. Does anyone know what this is for? THanks! This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| Lurker | Mine was connected, and the dealership said it was for the emission control and that I should disconnect it. since I disconnected it the car is much more powerfull so you should leave it disconnected. But i have a European car, don´t know if there is a difference |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | It's the test connectors. They've "moved" them. Actually, they're on both sides on the '07 STI's IIRC, but the '08's have them most easily accessible on the passenger side. Don't plug them in unless you're reflashing your ECU. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Anyone got a pic? I've got a UK spec 08 sti and have the green wiring harness under the steering wheel (right hand drive), and it's plugged in. Wondering if it's the same one & if I should unplug it? |

No need to reconnect them when reflashing anymore, the new cars are different than older ones in this respect. | |
