Hi, On my 2008 STi, I noticed a small green wiring harness right under the glove box just above where your feet would go and it was unplugged. Everything seems to be working on my car. Mine was connected, and the dealership said it was for the emission control and that I should disconnect it. since I disconnected it the car is much more powerfull so you should leave it disconnected. But i have a European car, don´t know if there is a difference |

Actually, they're on both sides on the '07 STI's IIRC, but the '08's have them most easily accessible on the passenger side. Don't plug them in unless you're reflashing your ECU. |
