I had these on my 02 WRX (Vishnu Stage 3) and had some issues... they were very loud and clunky (but nice handling upgrade). I switched to Whitelines version and have liked them since. Same handling bennies but much quieter. Not sure if same dynamics on an 08 Sti. Curious as Ill be adding to new Sti one or the other at some point as well.

I had these on my WRB STi and i did not care much for them. they would make a loud popping noise when i was turning real sharp, like parking or pulling into a driveway. But if i do go the suspension route and my car is going to be a daily driver, I would go with Whitelines PSRS with the urethane bushings. You need togive Tony or Clint a call @ TIC. They can steer You in the right direction. ( No Pun Intended ) LOL

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like Whiteline's the way to go. I'll check out TiC's web site to see how they are getting on with their new 08.

Again thanks

Cheers

I have perrin psrs, and it may make a few odd noises here and there but not enough to really bother me. The handling upgrade was quite immense though. The suspension upgrades on my car are probably its biggest asset besides the gt35r rotated, and the psrs certainly rounds it off. The car handles like a go kart, and essentially can turn as fast as you can hold on. I cannot stress how tight and grounded the car is, its amazing!

this is my suspension setup:

Tein Flex Coil-overs w/ EDFC
STI Strut Brace
Perrin PSRS
Perrin Cross Lock Sub-frame Brace
Perrin Sway-bar
Agency Power End-links
Agency Power Rear Control Arms

Whiteline has an ALK coming out for the 08 soon hopefully. I have seen install instructions for it and it looks very nice. Superpro also has a bushing kit out for it that was made for the late model LGT. It fits the same in the 08 and has the same caster gains as other kits.

These are both bushing types which are typically better for a daily driven car due to NVH.

The EDFC is cool cause you can actually feel the difference after you adjust it, but more cool because it makes noise as you adjust it so it sounds really impressive to everyone in the car. Apart from the incredible cool factor it actually has helped the car be more balanced and aggressive when I need it to be, so in many ways is worth it. I really got it because its obvious my setup is very aggressive so its good to be able to control just how much.

It would be really neat if you could tie the controller into the car's SI Drive or DSC

anyway I'm going to take a more gradual approach ie start with bushings, see if that does it, ...
