I got a 244 CEL this morning with the new COBB 1.01 map.

Digitalfiend,Please do not close this thread...Chris from Cobb is asking for feedback in the first one you closed.

Hard pull in 5th gear,4% grade, 7800ft. elevation.I know...not ideal for an OTS map.

The car felt like it had more power than with the 1.01 map...till I got the "pop" and the code.

Ugh, not so good news I only got the code once on my Stage 2 ACN map v1.00 aboud 2 weeks ago. I switched to the v1.01 map last night. Hope I don't get the code again. So far so good.

Giant, I think you may want to rename this thread so its more clear for all. Just a suggestion.

I wasn't planning on closing this one. I didn't see any request for feedback from Christian in that other thread...just a pointer to the update (from another user), which is why I closed it.

This thread has a purpose.

Cobb ver 1.01 maps released

Giant in the other thread that is now closed you said you did a realtime flash which I thought was the incorrect thing to do, you are supposed to do a reflash. Could that be your problem?

you shouldve done a full reflash, not real time.

I did a realtime OVER the reflash.

A realtime over the 1.00 map or you installed 1.01 then did the real-time on top of that? If you only "updated" by installing the real-time map, that is probably why it didn't work that well for you. The base map has additional tables, etc, that the real-time maps don't. Just a thought.

i have a catless DP and would get an overboost code everytime at WOT in 4th gear on the v1.00 map. I did a reflash of the v1.01 map this weekend and it doesn't hit an overboost code now in any high gear at WOT (even 6th). But, it does feel like it isn't as much power as the v1.00 map.

I did a realtime 1.01 over the1.01 reflash.I'm 100% I did it correct, that's why the code is freekin me out!!!!!!

how long after flashing the new map did you get the code?

when i initially flashed a new map on my '04. i'd overboost a few times during the first week.
after that, the ECU learned enough to compensate for all of this, and it never happened again.

Good thought JPH!!!...It had only been a couple of hours,and 45 miles since the 1.01 reflash,when I got the code.Thanks,JPH that could be it.I'll drive it around a couple more days,and do another pull under the same conditions,and report back.

i reflashed to 1.01 (93) then followed (as always after an ecu reset) the old "Vishnu" ECU/Ignition Advance Multiplier technique which you can find at this link. Re-Mapped ECU Learning Trick 10-20hp in 5 seconds - NASIOC which seems to work for me. I have noticed a bit of very low end "hesitation" compared to the factory map, and this was also a complaint by some with 1.00 map

i threw 0244 three times on the 1.00 stg 2 catted DP map and just wandered in the other day after about a month of being away and saw the updates for 1.01. reflashed this past saturday night (05/17) and the car is stronger than ever now. throttle response is improved and the jerkiness and hesitation between 2-3K rpm is all but gone.

btw, i performed a full reflash of the 1.01 map for those keeping score.

Got the code 2 times yesterday while hooked to romraider,the only weird thing my buddy saw was...Fuel pump at 100%,injectors only at 77% of max...I don't know much about this stuff,but that is what I was told.remember I'm getting the code at 7600ft. elevation.
