Default COBB Rattle

The shifter is great except under hard acceleration (every time, ) I hear a tiny yet annoying metal on metal rattle. I can stop it by placing my fingers over the pin that holds the cable in place. but i cant get it to stop. Ideas? I have tapped the pin a little deeper, but it didn't help. I cant tell which pieces are rubbing. There is no way to tighten it as far as i can tell. The COBB seems great otherwise. I am thinking of adding some synthetic grease to the area in hopes to stop the chatter.

I believe the instructions mention to zip tie the cable to the shifter, is that not correct?

If it isn't in there, I think that should do the trick, shouldn't it?

Please post back to resolve the thread.

Search is your friend. I literally put your thread title in the search bar and this came up: Shifter Rattle: I think I found the solution!
