You get the idea... I was able to do that after I found out who made the security system. Anyways, the reason is because I almost always have a passenger with me (my wife for example!) and it's just easier to press it once. And I could also set the passive alarm so that if I forget to lock the door, and somebody opens the door, the alarm will go off unless the key is inserted into the ignition within 20 seconds. |

This worked on a previous car I had. To switch back, do the same thing again. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Hahaha.... Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try that one when I get to my car. Well, if everybody tries some weird combination eventually we'll get it... Right?? Just make sure you take good notes and tell us if it worked! I'm also going to try: open door, press lock twice, run around the car, close door, hold unlock for 5 seconds, open door, hold my breath press lock, and close the door.... :P Last edited by Halogene; 05-06-2008 at 12:09 PM. |
