IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | Disclaimer: I forgot to log knock correction, so these logs aren't as useful as they could be. Still, some people might like to see this stuff. The conditions: 12C, light rain, 94% humidity, winds W 19km/h, pressure 100.71kPa, 94 octane, sea level, VDC ON, S#, AUTO-. Notes: The first and third logs were taken in 3rd gear while the the second log was taken in 4th. Looking at the logs it looks like I'm hitting a maximum of 19psi in 4th and tapering off to 14psi by redline. Another thing I've noticed is that the '08 speedo seems to be much more accurate than my '05's. At 80km/h, my '05 would show a vehicle speed of 76km/h where as my '08 shows 81km/h. I'll post up some new logs later that have KC field. http://www.ineptitude.net:808/data/enginuitylog_20080503_162235%20(3rd-4th%20gear).html http://www.ineptitude.net:808/data/enginuitylog_20080503_162508%20(4th%20gear).html http://www.ineptitude.net:808/data/e...d%20gear).html (Thanks Sleepyhead) This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Hey, While your at it can you log injector times? BTW, This turbo seems very capable to get more out of it, however fueling looks like it might need to be upgraded. The duty cycle is almost maxed. I need to get some logs done on my car. Did you use the cobb ODB dongle to log. Did you need a special driver? |

I agree about the fueling too. At the minimum I'm going to get some Deatschwerks 650cc injectors before I go stage 2.

I guess i'm going to have to pick up the Tactrix cable because I've had no luck with the Cobb cable. Is this the correct one? tactrix Thanks |

Thats is of course if the OEM injectors are rated for higher pressure. IMO, you are probably fine with Stage 2 and these injectors for peak torque since thats a bit lower in the RPM range, but if you want to run more boost at redline something will need to be done. Thanks for posting those logs BTW. Once I get my logging connection figure out I'll try to post some too.

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2008 Trader Rating: (1) | Has anyone here modded their injectors on an 08 yet? I can't imagine it has changed too much. On 05-07 I think doing this put the injectors around ~950cc. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | 07-08 injectors are topfeed where 04-06's are sidefeed. Topfeed's are alot more common so it will be cheaper and better selection for us. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | Thanks for that and yes that is the right cable. You might want to wait a month or so because the maker of those cables (Colby) is working on a CAN version. With the 1.2/1.3 cable you can only datalog; you can't download the maps/ECU memory. Quote:

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | its been a while since ive been to a tuning session but from what i remember its not uncommon to get the sti's injectors to 110% duty cycle. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
