IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Yeah, i just hit the rev limiter then...it wasn't a fuel cut because it just felt like a stutter rather than a full power loss (fuel cut). I just need to set the ol' shift like a little lower (5300-5500). Thanks for the help guys. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

If you're paying attention to where you're going instead of the gauges (like you should) then the alarm comes in handy, too. set it low enough so that you're shifting right before you hit the peak of the power curve. that doesn't mean set it at the peak. it means set it to include your reaction time. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | I have mine set to 5100 which is where I set it for break-in. I keep meaning to move it up to 5500-6000; I had my '05 set to 6500, but that left me 500rpm to redline instead of 250rpm like the '08 (which I will fix once I go stage 2.) |
