Default Gauges

I like the stock gauge color very much in the new sti. The white needle and red face are a very nice match. I was looking for aftermarket gauges, and nothing looks as good as the subaru oem gauges from japan, which i am planning on ordering but i also wanted a few other gauges as well. I didnt want to have all orange gauges with two that have white needles. My wife is in complete agreement so the search is on! The rumor is they are defi gauges and upon close examination of pictures it looks to be true, the needle setup and layout seem to be idenitcal. I was wondering if anyone has modified defi gauges to have the white needle or if the gauge backlighting also lit the needle as well? Anyone have some insight? thoughts? suggestions?

I have an old omori gauge too. What pod do you recommend for the steering column, and where did you tap the power for the gauge from?

I'm thinking of putting in a Defi boost gauge. At first glance, the Defi Racer Gauge series seems to match up pretty well.

Although the Defi doesn't have a white needle...it is black with power off and does the sweep dance during power on...very similar to stock 08 gauge cluster. I vote for Defi.

the pillar doesn't actually fly off when the airbag deploys. It only pops out a few inches.
