| Junior STI Driver | The seatbelt chime is easy. Get in your car. turn the key to start (not on). As fast as you can begin to plug and unplug the seatbelt. You can just hold down the button to make this easier. You need to get about 20-25 times in and out within 30 seconds of turning the key. Then just start your car. Voila no dinging. I swear this actually works and yes this is actually what the dealership will do. You can search for it elsewhere. You need to redo it every time you disconect the battery or reflash the ECU. |

| Junior STI Driver | It takes 30 seconds. And the ding is gone. Mine has been gone for months. Just had to redo it after getting the factory reflash. Laugh if you want. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | I almost did a little burnout while turning onto a street from a slight hill. Stupid hill-assist engaged while I was trying to turn left onto a fast road. The guy facing opposite me waved me to go (he was going straight) and I booted it as cars were coming. The revs came up but the car wasn't moving as fast as it should then suddenly the car shot forward as the brakes released and the rear end got a little loose. Fun stuff.
