Default Newb Boost question

08 STi
S# mode
VDC=off
Diff-manual mode- set to min.
When I am in 3rd and 4th gear, I can really feel the car start to pull hard around 3500-4K (not going over 4k, still in break-in period) like the turbo is spooling up nice.
But in 1st and 2nd gear, It really doesn't feel like the turbo is getting the job done like it does in 3rd & 4th.
Does the ECM cut the boost in the lower gears like in the MS3?? Or what?

Default Re: Newb Boost question

lower gears = low to no boost at lower rpm unless needed like you are hitting a hill or having 5 ppl in ur car... get a bootst gauge and u will see.
