I dont have the drop in. But I replaced my K&N on my APS intake and seems to work well. I didnt want the hassle of having to oil the K&N when I cleaned it. You can just use compressed air and/or a vacuum to clean the Amsoil.

I've been using Amsoil filters for 30k miles. The EAA-74 is a tight fit, but no more than a K&N drop in.
The thing that makes me laugh is the price wanted for an STI marked air filter. That's an expensive stencil.

Get a preferred customer account with AMSOil. The prices drop a few dollars. I used AMSOil products for everything.
