Where the hell could this have come from any ideas? Thanks
My car puffs white/blue smoke, something like your car when i start it up. it needs to be parked abit of it won't do it.

do you have an A/F gauge? if yes, what are your numbers?
you should have a friend drive behind you when you drive and tell you what color is showing when you drive and also if the smoke is just constant or only when you shift
white smoke= lean
blue= rich

You can check which base map (as well as real time map) that is flashed by plugging your AP into your computer.

My 07 has smoked twice since I bought it last summer. It freaked me out the first time as well until I looked into my exhaust and saw water coming out (Condensation).

woa... umm

a white cloud is often a sign of a blown headgasket, due to buring coolent. generally check the dipstick to see white goo... and check the oil cap for white goo.

blue is often oil. so it could be either the valve seals, rings or headgasket. compression test will solve this.

now if its just a "white" cloud, which consists of only water vapor, then we can talk tuning issues.

lol tals.... your an optimist i can see.... its an 08 lol, like everyone else is saying its probably just something in the exhaust or something to do w/ how he flashed the car..... my 03 wrx was a smoke cloud but i was catless runnin stg 2 OTS..... and it only smoked here and there..... i highly doubt anything in the engine has failed already unless he didnt break it in properly

Dont' stress about it, I had the same problem. Discovered that engine oil level was too high. I Drained oil to correct level... never had the same problem again.

I was wondering that my oil looks a little high. there is only 500 miles on the car and the smoke out the tail pipe looks blue like its burnning oil. only on start up after it sits a couple of hours. Thanks i will try that

Do not realtime flash ever, even if changing from one cobb map to the other. I noticed really inconsistent results using realtime. Just reflash it.
