Out of curiosity, does the 08 STi use the same power lines for the boost gauge? I used the one by the clock on my 06 to get power. Wondering if that's what everyone is using. If there is a better place to tap power from? Thanks

Where did you t in the vacuum line? What t fitting did you use

I have a manual Omori gauge, and was getting boost reading from the factory BOV right by the IC using the T fitting that came with the gauge.

That's a great install. I need one of these. Can you tell us which gauge you got, and how you went about installing it in the 08? I haven't found any posts specifically for the 08.
