Have you measured your oil temps to see if you even need one?

This is a Greddy GD oil cooler kit, that we had to retrofit. As it is supose to sit in the driver side bumper behind the fog cover. But the GR has the windshield washer fluid, and lack of space.
It took a couple of hours to figure out how to re-rout the lines to the new location using provided lines, but it fits nice. About 1/3 of the core is hidden behind the bumper still. Just need to get the oil temp, and oil pressure gauges in to see what the effects are.
But from experience, the OEM oil coolers are insufficient during hot track days.

i thought the 08 came equipped with an oil cooler from the factory, hence no sports option from STi Japan. They have a tranny cooler as well... sweet, cuz i shift gearz like its going out of style.

All of the turbo models that I remember have had an oil cooler from the factory, but it's an oil to water cooler that is integrated into the cooling system. Not as effective as an oil to air cooler.

There's some cool looking Air-coolers for Engine oil, transmission fluid and even power steering fluid, on the Japan STI Group-N website.
No idea how to buy them though...
