Default VDC question

When I turn VDC off I get a squigly car thingy that is orange...I notice however that when I start the car the squigly car thingy cycles between green and orange. I was thinking the green means that the VDC is actually doing something instead of idling waiting to do something. Can someone confirm what the Green VDC light does...

Three modes are available.

1. VDC Full On = when you start the car. Uses the brakes and the throttle to regain car control.

2. Push the button once = Full Off, no intervention at all, you can spin out if you try to.

3. When in OFF mode, push and hold for 5 seconds, yellow light turns green = Braking only traction control or "Performance Mode" as described in the manual. I have used this in Auto-Xing, not bad at all.

You can push and hold it at any time to go green.
