Default Cobb AP, Perrin map or Cobb

Can anyone tell me what map is better to run. i am picking up my car latter this week and wanted some input on witch map to flash. i have the perrin 93 oct. map and the cobb 93 oct. map. i would like to run the perrin map because of the boost settings on the SI drive. i hear that the perrin map runs poor is there any truth to this. Thanks for your help.

IMO, if your just picking it up new, it doesn't matter. You'll be taking it easy for the break in.

With my 07 after a break in, I added a tbe, inj, fp, and got it tuned

It's his car and he asked a reasonable question, so let's please stay on topic. Thank you.

Ive used both for about two weeks now and I prefer the Cobb 91 map over the Perrin 93. I wish I could use the Cobb 93, but we only have 92 octane locally. Getting my downpipe this week, so I'll be switching to the Cobb 91 stage two map.

I orginally preferred the Perrin 93 map as I think it provides more peak power than the Cobb 91 map. Today I reflashed the Cobb 91 map just to make sure and I might be changing my mind to Cobb 91. Reason being the transition into boost seems smoother, boost comes on earlier, and lag is reduced. I started to notice that after shifting and some other places the car wouldn't boost strong. I too wish i could run the pure cobb 93 map

I had a pretty bad experience with the Perrin. I did a bunch of troubleshoting on the car, but just never felt as fast as the cobb. It was only hitting 15psi, slow, etc. Yes I was reflashing, not realtime.. I just didnt work for me. The cobb 93 feels awesome to me.

Has anyone tried the Cobb 93 map running 92 octane gas? I know its not suggested but wondering if anyone has and had it work ok.
